On a short business trip, you might probably want an aisle seat right near the front of the plane so you can debark as soon as possible. For an overnight flight, you might want a window seat so that you can rest your head and nervous fliers might want to sit over the wing, which is generally less turbulent. The bulkhead seats are usually the favourite of many fliers. You can get some extra legroom with it as well but certain bulkhead rows can be pretty crammed and uncomfortable.
